Healthy Protein Tips

Protein supplies the basic building blocks of life. They are the body’s main structural element. The proteins, in its original form, are too large to be absorbed through the intestines. The body breaks them down into smaller components called amino acids. The amino acids are small enough to penetrate the intestinal wall and are absorbed into the blood stream. The amino acids are used to build and maintain the body’s structure. The amino acids not used for this are used for energy.

 When you look in the mirror you are seeing protein in action. Your hair, eyes, skin, bones, heart, veins, muscles and genes that carry your personal blueprint are made of protein. While other foods are important, it is protein that actually builds your muscles.

 Protein gives your body what is necessary for growth, recovery and repair. We need protein for growth. Enough intake of protein is essential to our health. Protein is needed for:
Growth and development in child
Cell maintenance and repair
Regulation of body functions
Various tasks that fat and carbohydrates cannot do

Protein is consists of amino acids. Proteins from different types of foods contain different types of amino acids. These amino acids are used by our body to create protein that we need. Amino acids can be categorized into two broad types, non-essential amino acids and essential amino acids.

 Essential amino acids are provided from our daily diets. Our body cannot create these amino acids from other amino acids. Unlike essential amino acids, our body can make non-essential amino acids from other amino acids that we consume. The daily intake of protein can be up to 15% of the total nutrients we eat. One way to work out how much protein you need for a day is multiply your weight with 0.75 protein per day. So if you weight about 51kg, you need about 38g of protein a day. If you weight about 70kg, you need slightly more than 52g of protein a day.

How to remove tan

1.Sunscreen timings: Exposure to sun is one of the major factors that cause tanning. Hence, when travelling wear a sunscreen that has a sun protection factor or SPF of at least 15. The intensity of the sun is greatest between ten in the morning to four in the evening therefore if you can try and reapply sunscreen.

 2. Bleach naturally: Natural bleaching agents can be used thrice a week to cleanse your face. Mix 4 tbsp milk, 1 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp lemon juice and apply the mixture evenly on the tanned areas for 15 minutes. Once dried, wash with cold water. This works best for greasy and oily skin.

 3. Cleanse well: A yogurt and honey cleanser can do wonders to de-tan your skin. Mix 4 tbsp plain yogurt, 2 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp lime juice, add a little cornstarch, if you think the paste needs thickening. Apply on your face and massage for 2-3 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

 4. Papaya can work: Rub raw papaya juice or ripe papaya pulp on the skin, as it helps to lighten the dark patches on your face. Application of tea tree oil on affected areas, especially areas affected by pigmentation, is beneficial. You can add extracts of basil leaves in this for the better results.

5. Face and Neck :
First, remember that fake tan is least effective on the face and within 24 hours, the tan will have already toned down in color so if at all possible, try to leave it alone and counter with some judicious use of make-up. If you are desperate, try massaging baking soda into your damp skin (e.g. in the shower), using small, gentle circles. This has an exfoliating action which will remove any dead skin that is ready to be sloughed off. This treatment will help greatly with any “blotchiness” that comes from fake tanning products. If the color is even but simply unnatural, moisten a cotton pad with alcohol-free toner or a liquid make-up remover and wipe it gently over your face and neck. Alternatively, find a product containing Alpha- or Beta-Hydroxy Acid solution and apply before bedtime – you should see an improvement in the morning.

 6.Hands and Feet:
 For orange palms and soles, body hair bleach can be very effective. Apply to the stained areas, leave for about 10 minutes and then rinse off thoroughly. If other, more sensitive, areas are stained such as wrists, knees and ankles, try the Alpha- or Beta-Hydroxy Acid solution. Ordinary hydrogen peroxide (such as from your First Aid kit) can also work, although make sure that it is no older than 6 months old because otherwise, it will be ineffective. While it may not work immediately, it should help to lighten the tan more quickly if you keep applying it daily to restricted areas.
Note that hydrogen peroxide is a very powerful chemical and can harm the skin through free radical damage – therefore, it should NEVER be applied to large areas of the body. Remember to always test a small area of skin first when using any chemical as they can cause severe irritation. In addition, never use different products at the same time (eg. hydrogen peroxide and body hair bleach) on the same area of skin.

Fingernails and Toenails :
Again, body hair bleach can work well on stained toenails and cuticles. For fingernails, try soaking them in a bowl of denture cleaner.

Underarms:
An area that often has to endure constant shaving and deodorising, it is no surprise that the skin around the underarms can look strange and absorb fake tans badly, causing a ring to form around the underarm. It is best to gently exfoliate the area using a scrubbing cloth.

 Knees and Elbows:
Again, exfoliation with a scrubbing cloth is a good solution and you can do it quite vigorously with something like a sisal scrubbing cloth. However, never rub your skin red.

Torso, Legs and Arms :
 These parts of the body need more gentle treatment so it is best to coat yourself in baby oil, followed by a long bath during which you can exfoliate very gently with a cotton washcloth. Daily soaking in a bathtub will also help reduce all-over “orangeness”. Swimming will also help to tone down the colour. Remember to keep your skin moisturised at all times and to always be as gentle as possible. Raw, red skin is no more attractive than orange skin!

  Try and keep this smoothie at room temperature by using unrefrigerated fruit and water. Food at extremes of cold and heat can have a negative effect on the digestive system.

Rangoli Tips

While drawing circles, tie thread to a chalk. Then hold the free end of thread with left hand’s index finger tip and draw a circle holding the chalk in right hand. Use a Sieve/Strainer to fill colors. This makes the color filing very fast. To make a matrix of dots, mark equidistant points on a paper. Then with a incense/agarbatti              
stick make holes on that particular point. Make sure to make holes of somewhat same size. Make white outlines to enhance the rangoli. If you want to give a light tone to the color, mix it with white plain rangoli. Always use dark colors alongside the light ones. To make an attractive color scheme, choose pairs of opposite colors: Red & Green, Black & White,Violet & Yellow, Orange & Blue, Red & Yellow, Yellow & Green,Orange & Yellow,Blue & Yellow, etc. The rangoli colors available in the market are sticky and cannot be sprinkled or taken in the pinch. To make them free-flowing mix colors with white rangoli powder. Some more tips •To fill colour you can use mehindi cones. This will help to fill the colour more accurately and easily. •You may create spaces within the rangoli design to place diyas. You could also use flower petals of different colours (golden marigolds, bright red roses) to add that extra dimension to your design. •Special floating candles are also available in the market. Float them in big containers of water along with flower petals. •If you are making rangoli design with edible material spray some pesticides near rangoli so that the ants don’t attack your it. •You can put a glass of appropriate size to put over the frame is essential to prevent damage as well as it will increase the glaze of Your Kolam. •Make white outlines to enhance the design. •You can also make a stencil of Rangoli. For this take a cardboard and draw the design you want to make, and cut out the design .So any time you want to make that design just sprinkle colour on the cardboard and the design is ready. •Donot use glue to make the rangoli permanent. That will only spoil it.

Exercise For Biceps and Triceps

Barbell Curls (Biceps)
The standard exercise to build big biceps. Stand holding the barbell with your arms straight down by your sides, with palms facing outwards. Curl the barbell up towards you chest, pause and then lower it back down slowly.
 Hammer Curls (Biceps) 
Another great exercise for the biceps and forearms. Stand holding a pair of dumbbells with your arms straight down by your sides, with palms facing inwards. Curl the dumbbells up towards your shoulders, pause and then lower them back down slowly.
 Preacher Curls (Biceps)
 An exercise that is all about sculpting the biceps and adding terrific width. Sit with your chest against the preacher curls bench, with your armpits firmly hugging the top of the bench. Grab a barbell and extend your arms down fully to the floor. Curl the bar upwards, pauses and then lower the bar to the starting position slowly.
 Incline Dumbbell Curls (Biceps) 
Set an incline bench to 45 degrees. Sit on the bench with a pair of dumbbells with an underhand grip, arms extended by your side. Make sure your back is flat against the bench. Curl the dumbbells upwards towards your shoulders, pause and lower them back down slowly.
 Low Pulley Curls (Biceps) 
Stand facing the machine and grab the bar on the low pulley. Making sure you keep your back straight, curl the bar up towards your chest, pause and then lower it back down to the starting position slowly.
 Underhand Grip Pull-ups’ (Biceps) 
Probably the most effective way of building big guns. Grab a pull-up bar with an underhand grip. Pull yourself up until your chest is almost touching the bar, pause and then lower yourself back down slowly. Keep your legs crossed behind you during the exercise for stability.
 Cable Press Downs (Triceps)
 A great move to build massive triceps. Attach a short bar to the overhead cable and stand Facing the machine. Grab the bar, and keep your elbows tucked in by your sides tightly, arms bent. Push the bar down towards extending your arms, pause and then raise the bar back to the starting position. Remember; keep your elbows against your body the whole time.
 Overhead Rope Pushdowns (Triceps)
 Another great move for the triceps. Attach a rope extension to the overhead cable. Stand facing away from the machine and grab the rope. Lean forward slightly and push the rope down until your arms are extended with your hands in front of your head, pause and then return to the starting position slowly.Feel the burn. Pressups (Triceps)
 An almost forgotten move that is a classic triceps builder. Get into the classic press up position. Keeping your body straight and your abs tight, lower your chest until it almost touches the floor, pause for 2 seconds and then push yourself up again. Alternate between wide arm, close arm and regular arm pressups for the best results.
 Dips (Triceps)
 Another classic move that gets results quickly. Put your hands on the edge of a flat bench behind you, palms down and shoulder width apart. Extend your legs out in front of you. Keeping your hands on the bench, lower yourself to the floor, pause for 5 seconds and then press yourself up until your elbows are locked.

Cleansing is the essential part of facial and daily routine.
 You can do cleansing before applying makeup or you can also do cleansing to make your skin clean and clear. 
Here is the way you can do soft cleansing of your face First of all wet your hands with water and put the cleansing milk on your hand Start from the neck. 
You can use 2 to 3 fingers of your hand if you will use all the fingers it will give harsh affect on your face. 
On neck start cleansing in upward strokes 
Then coming on to the cheeks it will be also done in upward strokes 
From cheeks take your fingers in downward stroke and come to chin and then from chin upward stroke come to ears 
Forehead will also be done in upward strokes but the movement of your fingers will be from eyebrows to temple area 
In the middle of eyes give inward strokes towards nose Movement of fingers on nose will also be in upward strokes
 Upward strokes tightens the skin that is why we practice it so
 Do all the steps from 15 to 20 times depending upon the time you want to give to cleansing but do all this with soft hands On eyes give the fingers movements in round on close eyes

Kitchen Tips

The Kitchen should be in the South-East corner of the main building or the flat. The main Kitchen platform should be in the East and the South-East corner. The platform should not touch the east and the south walls of the kitchen. It should be at least one to three inches away from the kitchen we can also take a projection of 1 or 2 inches while constructing the kitchen. Stove or gas burner should be in the south-east corner, a few inches away from the wall. The gas burner should not be in front of the main door of kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen platform, another L shaped platform near the south wall for keeping micro oven, mixer, grinder etc. will be very useful. The washbasin (sink) of the platform should be in the north-east corner as far as possible. Pitcher of water and utensils for drinking water should be in the north-east or the north side. Essential commodities like boxes of grain, spices, pluses etc. should be in the south or west direction. The entrance door should not be in any of the corners. Doors in the east, north and west are useful. Dining table in the kitchen should be in the west or North West side. Light weight articles should be kept in the east or the north. While cooking, the face should be towards the east. There should be one or two windows or air holes in the east and west. An exhaust fan in the gap is useful. Color of floor and walls should be yellow, orange, rose, chocolate or red, but not black or white as far as possible. A freeze in the kitchen should be in the south-east, south, west and north direction.
